Finally someone has taken amazing artwork designed for children and put it in one place. Unfortunately it is out of Sydney. The Kindergallery needs to move stateside and all would be perfect!

These French sites (My Little Day and La Cerise Sur le Gateau) are full of gorgeous photography ... which proves that even though I don't need a THING on either of the sites, beauty creates desire.

Target is carrying a line of organic baby clothes by Little Seed, Soleil Moon Frye and friend's baby company. I love the bright colors. Mae Mae may need a few fresh pieces of his/her own!

i have a favorite app

So far, I have not obsessed over iPhone apps. I have some, but I try to use my phone as a phone and planner. There are great kid apps but I cannot stand the tantrums when phone time is up. I recently found Hipstamatic on a mom-blog and am LOVING it. I rarely took pics with the phone because they were so crumby. But now the Hipstamatic app does all of the Photoshop work for me and I have these cool vintage-looking pics.

music changes everything

Moods in this house can change in a second. Tantrums are thrown when you least expect them. Our four year old boycotts any or all choices frequently. When we throw on some good tunes everything changes. It is like we all step into a natural rhythm and things just work. I found both of these links on SwissMiss. I wish so much that the song quotes on Music Philosophy came in paper poster form. If you only knew how many times I sing "you can't always get what you want" in a day.

This designer is super talented. I love her take on wedding invites ... letterpress, flat print or print-at-home. The sets that she offers are fun and well crafted.

sidenote: we are expecting numero tres and D has named he/she "mae mae". Kinda funny.

I am obsessed/enamored with beautiful charts. The forethought that has to go into each line shows such talent. We Love Datavis is a Tumblr collection of charts, maps, graphs, and diagrams curated by Datavisualization.ch. All are incredible.
